1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Be a leader. To bring the change you want to see you must be able to demonstrate that change. Through my leadership position with the Grange organization, I am able to inspire others around me to be leaders to bring positive change within their communities. Create ripples. When you create a small change and inspire another person, they carry that inspiration and create more change and inspire even more people.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My husband, Garrett, is an intelligent, hardworking, caring, selfless man. He has devoted the past 17 years of his life to serving in the United States Coast Guard. Garrett is currently serving as EPO MK1 on the USCG Tackle. He is always putting the needs of our family and his country ahead of his own. Garrett never complains and always performs his job duties with enthusiasm. He is a loving, patient father and supportive husband.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I would love to go back to spend one more Christmas Eve at my Gram and Gramps house. They always made Christmas so special. We would enjoy fresh Maine scallop chowder, hear Santa’s bells around the house, and then we knew we could gather around the tree for presents. My grandparents always knew what I wanted and it was the last gift I opened. I miss them so much!
4.What is the most random fact you know?
I would like to say someone would describe me as a kind and friendly person in high school who was also a bit of a class clown. I enjoyed sports and took competitive cheerleading and softball very seriously. My team won the 2007 Maine State Cheerleading title and I hit a home run over the fence my senior year of softball. My small rural high school felt like a second home to me.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
I would buy my husband the newest Ford pickup truck and send him on a hunting vacation to any destination he wanted. He has devoted his life to the United States Coast Guard and has sacrificed so much for our great country and our family, I would love to give him these two things to say thank you for the amazing man he is.
